We are seeking a Sr. IT Administrator to work side by side with the team on improving our internal technology systems, providing support across the company’s technology infrastructure, driving software strategy, evaluating risk, and interfacing with customers regarding their IT growth, support, and needs.
The Right Candidate Will Be Able To …
- Lead, design, deploy and manage technology solutions for internal and external customer requirements including Microsoft 365 consulting services.
- Partner with Senior Lead Staff to test and make recommendations on future releases of technologies by Microsoft.
- Proactively address any risks or issues impacting scope, duration, quality, or budget of assigned projects.
- Manage, prioritize, and assist with the Technical Services Team’s helpdesk, support and maintenance workload priorities including desktop, server, network, SQL, email and Microsoft applications. Maintain documentation for client systems and applications.
- Work with Technical team to deploy new computer systems and repair and upgrade existing computers, laptops and computer peripherals in Azure and M365 environments.
- Manage technology infrastructure: AD DS, AAD, Network Devices, Windows Servers, and Hardware Peripherals.
- Design, configure and manage system security for client and internal systems.
- Providing system administration for internal/external systems including but not limited to SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 Apps (Business & Enterprise) / Power BI; Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Endpoint Management; Project Server / Project Online; Exchange Online; Azure SQL Server instances; Dynamics Sales / Dynamics Project Operations / Dynamics Customer Service
- Write & Update Technical Documentation for training and standardization of internal IT processes and procedures.
- Support the Strategic Planning and Leadership team with key goals, strategy, and direction of the technical solutions delivered by the Technical Services team.
- Provide leadership and solution-minded out-of-the-box thinking while ensuring commitment to the Advisicon Brand, Mission, Vision, and Values.

Top Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success are…
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- 5+ years of implementation, operations, and maintenance in multi-platform and multi-system environments.
- Strong understanding of Security through Technology, especially on the Microsoft operating systems, platforms and M365/Intune/Azure AD environments
- Effective manager of both technical and non-technical resources and teams; comfortable speaking to customers and providing guidance or excellent customer service
- Ability to prioritize competing work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Senior level experience with M365 administration, migrations, Hybrid Exchange / Active Directory integration, Teams, SharePoint, Intune/Endpoint Manager.
- Senior level experience
- Administering, implementing, and developing Azure Services. Azure AD, Security Center, enterprise apps, Data/Blob storage, Virtual Machines, SQL databases, DevOps, and Lighthouse.
- Deploying all Microsoft Defender environments, implementing Azure Sentinel, and defining configuration policies in a zero-trust model.
- Experience in Microsoft Partner Center administration, NCE, and Legacy License administration.
- Experience implementing Microsoft and Azure MFA using Microsoft Authenticator, RSA Tokens, and Azure Key Vault
- Strong experience in eliciting and documenting customer solution requirements.
- Experience using and developing helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Microsoft 365, Azure, or Technology Certifications (i.e. MCA, MCSE, or MCE)
Additional Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities desired for success; preferred but not required:
- Advanced Experience in PowerShell administration of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, and script automation of administrative tasks.
- Enterprise-level IAM experience, including design and implementation. Microsoft SC-900 or related industry standard certification is desired.
- Strong experience in the Project PPM Solution suite by Microsoft 365.
- Senior level experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Dynamics 365 Apps, Power Apps, Power BI)
- Robust database design and planning skills within SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
- PMP certification a plus, but not required

Salary / Compensation:
Fully qualified individuals can anticipate compensation between $80,000 and $90,000 annual; however, compensation varies and is determined based on experience and skillset.
